This year’s Animazement was my 10th consecutive AZ and honestly, probably the best one I’ve ever had. I stayed busy the whole time, spent more money on food than merch (yes this is a good thing), and got to see and interact with amazing friends and guests alike. I couldn’t believe how smooth everything went this weekend when it came to panels, logistics, and everything else, at least from my limited perspective. Keep up that great work, AZ staff, especially the panel team who knocked. it. out.

One of the highlights for me, other than getting to hang out with some of my best buds, was getting to interview Robert Woodhead; an industry legend and all-around fascinating guy. Definitely check out our interview with him if you haven’t already.

If you went to AZ and had a blast, same. If your AZ was less than stellar, I’m sorry to hear that and I hope next year treats you better. I will say though there are a lot of FB posts floating around about how the “convention is dead” and I can say this is 100% not true. This con is still kicking and kicking hard. It kicked me in the face and I shook its hand.
